Applying multiple research methodologies

Quantitative investigation may sometime being seen as providing relatively artificial and sterile results, qualitative investigation could be seen to be more meaningful, in a way that it could be associated to the participant reality. Nevertheless the use of both approaches is indispensable to obtain reliable and valid results.

Qualitative

Good qualitative research can provide non-negligible information about your customer’s behaviour, habits and point of views. Qualitative approach leads us to in-depth information (e.g. interview), which may be missed out while using quantitative approaches (e.g. survey).

Quantitative

Quantitative methods may involve experimental design and statistical procedure, in order to get evidences; psychological measurement scales; tests and questionnaires to obtain standardization.
