Team Leader

Dr Emmanuelle Savarit

Emmanuelle has completed a PhD in Social Psychology on the subject of multi modal analysis of human interaction involving post-stroke patients who suffer from aphasia and how they manage to communicate and compensate their lexical limitation using surrounding environment. Methodologically Emmanuelle was interested to take a different perspective investigating capability rather than deficit and using qualitative rather than quantitative analysis and has developed an expertise in the analysis of audio and video data.

After her graduation, Emmanuelle was invited to work in the Centre of Language Interaction and Culture (Department of Sociology and Anthropology, UCLA), where she worked with the leaders in qualitative methodologies and human interaction.

In 2006 she returned to Europe to work for the University of Compiègne (UTC), France, one of the best French engineering universities. Emmanuelle lectured on improving engineer perception of user experience applying qualitative methodologies and applied her research methodologies expertise to several projects in the private and public sectors.

Since 2008 she consulted on projects in sectors such as e-commerce, web, telecom, aeronautics, financial markets and for governmental bodies.

In March 2009 Emmanuelle joined the Clinical Safety Research Unit at Imperial College London as a research associate on the WISER project to investigate the reliability and the user experience of UK’s healthcare system. She developed a research methodology module to apply qualitative analysis in the field of health care.

In January 2010 she had started her own company: Analyse-Concept LTD.
